Tickets: $5 per Adult or $10 per Car. No concessions will be provided, please pack plenty of water and snacks.

Athletes may ride with their parents to and from the meet. If an athlete needs transportation, a minibus driven by Coach Byrd will be traveling to and from Sherwood Baptist Church. See schedule below for departure time.

8:15 am- Registration and Check-in opens for 1-Mile, 3k, and 5k
9:00am – All Athletes have already arrived at Cross Country Meet Location
9:30 am- Registration Closes
10:00 am- Male 5k Race
10:05 am- Female 5k Race
10:45 am – Boys 3k Race
10:50 am- Girls 3k Race
11:15 am- Boys 1-Mile Race
11:25 am- Girls 1-Mile Race

It’s that time of year again for the 10th Annual Cannonball 5K. This year’s Cannonball will be at the same location as the last 3 years, the Georgia Premier Cross Country Course at Middle Georgia State University (3450 Fulton Mill Rd, Macon, GA 31206). This is a great opportunity to catch a glimpse of the Varsity State Course!

Additionally, this race is open to coaches, parents, friends, family, non-GAPPS teams, and all running enthusiasts. In order for them to participate, they will need to register by following the link below:

Using this link runners will be able to sign up for the 5K (14 and older), the 3K (Ages 14 and under), and the 2k (10 and under). Additionally each year we have a Tot-Run for younger siblings (roughly 200m, free of cost and no registration necessary). The registration fee will include entry into the race, a timing Chip, a bib, and a 2023 Cannonball 5K T-Shirt (Deadline for receiving a T-Shirt at the event is Sunday, September 17th @ 11:59pm, registration beyond that will receive T-shirts in the mail).

The cost to participate for non-GAPPS runners is $35 for the 5K and $30 for the 3K and 2k. Same day registration will see a $5 increase. Online Registration will close on September 20th.

We would love to have some parents run in the race with our athletes!
