Team Tent Location: Each school will set up team tents in the visitor’s bleachers for this event.

Infield Area: The infield is designated for warming up (20 minutes before 1st call) and or for cooling down at the conclusion of an event is complete (first 15 minutes after the event). There will be flags marking off runways for both warm-ups and cool down lanes. Athletes can use designated hurdles for warm-ups, but are strongly reminded to place this equipment back where it was first found. Athletes are NOT ALLOWED to sit down or lay bags inside the infield area.

Spectators: The home stadium concrete and aluminum bleachers will be designated for spectators. Additionally, a spectator area is located at the end of the shot put sector, in the gravel location. This location will be available for spectators to watch the shot put, discus, and pole vault events. Due to the facility procedures, all spectators are required to follow these safety guidelines in order to maintain this efficient plan of action. It’s important to UNDERSTAND, student athletes, coaches, and volunteers are only allowed on the turf or infield for various purposes.
Concessions: Concessions will be provided at this event located outdoors on the home side of the stadium.

Bathrooms: The bathrooms are located at the bottom of the press-box.

Fully Automatic Timing: First Call Timing will serve as the official timing group, led by Lamar Grant.

Check-in Table: One table will be designated for the girls and the other table boys. The check-in tables will be located in the endzone (HJ side). Athletes are reminded to report to their designated check-in venue by the 2nd call. Athletes who compete in running and relay events will report to the designated check-in table to sign in with the clerk. Once this takes place a number sticker, indicating the heat and lane assignment will be assigned. For relay events, only the anchor is asked to check-in the team.

Entries: Scratches are not allowed, as no shows simply lead to a “DNS”.

Uniforms/Jewelry: We will follow the GAPPS rules.

Heats/Trials: Heats will be run as a final against the clock, with no prelims for this event. There will be 3 trials in the long and triple, shot and discus. At the high jump and pole vault events, each participant will be allowed up to three (3) attempts at each designated height.

Scoring: The top eight places in individual and relay events will be scored at this meet: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

GAPPS: Teams scoring the most points overall in all combined events will be recognized as the team champion, receiving a 1st place trophy. Teams who finish in 2nd place will receive a runner-up trophy. Athletes who finish in the top 8 in all individual & relay events will each be awarded a medal.
